RAF terrorist Daniela Klette hoarded explosive items in her 40 square meter apartment.

Investigators are still active in her apartment.

Berlin - The first attacks by the Red Army Faction (RAF) were more than 50 years ago - and the terrorists' actions are still the subject of investigations.

A good two weeks after the arrest of RAF terrorist Daniela Klette (65), investigators are still working in her home in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

“We are very meticulous about this,” said a spokesman for the responsible LKA.

The finds in Klette's social apartment are very explosive - the investigators discovered, among other things, military weapons and large sums of money in a wooden cupboard with a false bottom.

Gold, cash and weapons of war in RAF terrorist Klette's Berlin apartment

According to a

Spiegel

report, highly explosive finds were made during the searches in Klette's small 40 square meter one-room apartment.

In addition to “various documents related to the RAF”, a balaclava, numerous ID cards, cell phones and jammers, the following items were found:

  • 1.2 kilograms of gold

  • 40,000 euros cash

  • Panzerfaust and warhead

  • Heckler & Koch pistol (loaded)

  • Kalashnikov rifle

  • live ammunition in food storage containers

  • grenade

  • explosives

Klette's secret heritage has a history.

At least one of the weapons is believed to have come from a Red Army faction raid in 1984.

The 65-year-old Klette was arrested in her apartment on February 26th.

The RAF terrorist is said to have lived there for around 20 years - without a rental agreement.

Klette went into hiding together with the RAF terrorists Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker Staub more than 30 years ago.

All three belonged to the so-called third generation of the left-wing extremist terrorist organization Red Army Faction, which carried out numerous attacks and killed people until 1991.

“Humbling” in police investigations – RAF apartment causes political scandal

It is not yet possible to predict when the current measures will be ended.

The public prosecutor's office must decide what happens to the apartment afterwards.

Meanwhile, it became known that there were “sudden problems” in the cooperation between the Berlin police and those from Lower Saxony.

Berlin's Interior Senator Iris Spranger (SPD) recently confirmed this.

The LKA Lower Saxony has been busy searching for RAF terrorists Daniela Klette, Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker Staub for over ten years.

Berlin media had, among other things, reported on criticism from Berlin police circles of their colleagues from Lower Saxony.

The

Tagesspiegel

quotes a Berlin official as saying: “They behave like an ax in the woods.”

There is talk of productions with armored cars, special forces and a desire for rural officials to raise their profile.

After the weapons were found in Klette's apartment, the people of Lower Saxony warned of a “potential danger to the population” in Berlin.

This was perceived as invasive in the capital.

Interior Senator Spranger: “The fact is that in Berlin we decide for ourselves what dangers we face.

I don’t need a risk assessment from Lower Saxony for that.”

Arrest warrant against RAF terrorist Daniela Klette – complicity in attacks

RAF terrorist Daniela Klette is unlikely to get out of prison any time soon.

An investigating judge at the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe recently issued an arrest warrant against the 65-year-old.

The accused is strongly suspected of attempted murder in two cases as well as attempted and completed explosive explosions in complicity in three RAF attacks between February 1990 and March 1993.

This is what it says in the communication from the highest prosecution authority in Germany.
