The Freedom of Mobility Forum 2024, an initiative launched by Stellantis to encourage debate on the mobility of the future and the various challenges that society will have to face, will take place this year in a new way.

In fact, students from three universities based in Africa, Europe and North America will also participate in the debate, sharing their research and opinions on the topic: "How will our planet satisfy the mobility needs of eight billion people?".

To analyze how today's decisions will impact the future of the next generations, the advisory board deemed it crucial to involve younger people in the discussion.


    The 2024 event, which will take place on April 3, will be moderated by an independent third party and the discussion will focus on how the limits of our Planet could redefine freedom of mobility.

The topic will be addressed from a technological, entrepreneurial and social point of view.


    A representative from each university will share the studies carried out in the chosen thematic area.

Students from Ensa Kenitra University (Morocco) analyzed the environmental, economic and technological challenges posed by the three main energy sources currently in use, which are expected to be used in the transport sector.

The research focuses on potential technical solutions that can avoid resource depletion.

Students at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University (United States) studied the link between decisions made regarding mobility resulting from concerns caused by climate change, and social justice and equality.

Their research focuses on the main factors that determine inequalities in access to transport.

The students at Hec Paris University (France) focused their research on the excessive dependence on dominant business models regarding mobility, all based on individual mobility and the use of owned vehicles.

The students examined alternative solutions.
