The protest of the abductees' families together with the women's protest block the Ayalon South routes, March 14, 2024/Danor Aharon
The families of the abductees this morning (Thursday) blocked the Ayalon South road in the Peace Interchange area demanding an immediate deal to return the abductees home.
"Fighting and fighting to bring back the abducted," cried the families, and several yellow smoke grenades were set off on the road along with many signs asking for a deal now.
The road block is part of the women's protest today, when at 18:30 a large demonstration is planned in Dizengoff Square with the sign "We will not stop until they all return - they are running out of time, deal now!".
The road was opened to traffic after half an hour of protest, while it is not yet clear whether such blockades are planned later in the day.

Last Saturday there were blockades in Ayalon as part of a demonstration against the government that was held earlier on Kaplan Street.
The protest took place under the slogan "before it's too late, elections now".
With the end of the municipal elections, the demonstrators claim that it is possible to carry out an election in wartime and call for the replacement of the existing government.
According to the police announcements, the protest group on the spot was not among the families of the abductees and held an illegal demonstration, when about 16 demonstrators were arrested in Tel Aviv.
