The accident occurred around 7:10 p.m. on federal highway 303. According to current information, the 65-year-old woman was traveling towards Coburg and passed the town of Hafenpreppach.
“At the same time, a tractor driver coming from Wasmuthhausen drove from state highway 2428 onto the federal highway in order to cross it.
“The vehicles collided here,” reports the police.
The driver suffered serious injuries in the accident and died at the scene.
According to current findings, the 51-year-old tractor driver suffered minor injuries and was treated on site by emergency services.
The vehicles involved were seized.
