Saalburg-Ebersdorf - A moped driver was hit by a van in Saalburg-Ebersdorf (Saale-Orla district) and seriously injured.
The 17-year-old was taken to a clinic in a rescue helicopter after the accident on Tuesday afternoon, the police announced on Thursday.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident in the Friesau district was ongoing.
According to initial findings, the driver of the van overlooked the moped as he drove out of a property onto the street.
