The intersection in Schwaberwegen will be completely closed during the Easter and Whitsun holidays.

During the Easter holidays, a drinking water pipe and the roadway on Münchner Straße in Forstinning will be renovated.
There are large-scale diversions.
Forstinning - During the Easter holidays from March 25th to April 7th, it's not just Forstinninger drivers who have to think about how they plan their trips to work, to the S-Bahn or to go shopping in neighboring communities.
Due to water pipe and road renovation in Münchner Straße: Large-scale diversion in Forstinning during the Easter holidays
During this period, the intersection in Schwaberwegen (near Gaststätte zum Vaas) will be completely closed.
As part of the road renovation, the drinking water pipe (already 50 years old) will be replaced.
The latter will then be renewed starting from the intersection in the direction of the town center with partial and daily full closures in sections of around 50 meters per day.
Water meters will also be installed at the main junctions so that the North Forest Water Association can quickly locate any damage.
The junctions and house connections are then integrated and the road surface is re-laid.
For this reason, the intersection in Schwaberwegen will be completely closed again during the Whitsun holidays from May 18th to June 1st.
After the holidays, the entire renovation work should be completed up to Fichtenstrasse and continue towards the center of the town.
The construction work is expected to end in October 2014.
During the construction work, Münchener Straße will be closed with the sign “Residents free”.
Inner-city traffic will be diverted over a large area via Moosstrasse as well as regional, long-distance and truck traffic.
The “Moos” industrial area can be reached via the “Forstinning” motorway exit and the “Ost” industrial area can be reached via the “Hohenlinden” exit.
The bus stops on Münchener Straße – Fichtenund Waldstraße – will not be served during the construction phase.
A replacement stop will be set up opposite the town hall for the “Rathaus” stop.
There is also a replacement stop on Moosstrasse near Geibitzweg.
During the complete closure of the intersection in Schwaberwegen, the “Lindenstraße” stop cannot be reached – nor can the “Moos” stop.
Bus route 446 will be rerouted via Hohenlinden during the Easter and Whitsun holidays.
The Niederried and Rathaus stops are reached here.
There will also be a street on Münchener Straße near Holzwinkelweg.
