The great charity streaming marathon will make its return.
After a year of absence, the Z Event will take place in 2024, announced Zerator, the organizer of the event, this Tuesday on the set of the show Popcorn broadcast on Twitch.
“There will be a Z Event this year, we’re working on it, and I can’t talk about it yet, it’s too early,” said the streamer, real name Adrien Nougaret.
No details have therefore been revealed on the organization of the event.
It could be held in the fall, like previous editions.
Donation to associations
Last year, the charity marathon took a break after six events which raised tens of millions of euros for numerous associations, such as Action Against Hunger, Amnesty International, the League for Birds (LPO) or Sea Shepherd France.
In 2022, more than 10 million euros had been collected.
The principle is simple.
Over three days, several dozen streaming stars raise funds by completing several challenges, such as video games, board games, singing or even drawing.
These challenges, called “donation goals”, are proposed by the players, and they will complete them if the displayed donation objective is reached.

Z Event 2022: 10 million euros raised, record broken
After becoming a major event for all video game lovers, the Z Event even crossed the boundaries of gaming during the last edition.
The actor Alain Chabat, and the singers Bigflo and Oli were present during the event.
In 2023, the Z Event had not been organized.
“We wanted to take a year off.
I could have announced it at the beginning of the year, but since we weren't 100% sure, we preferred to take our time to think about it,” Zerator explained last September during a live on Twitch.
Zerator also announced on Tuesday the fifth edition of Z Lan, an e-sports competition also organized by the streamer.
It will be held in Montpellier on May 10, 11 and 12, 2024.
