Berlin – In the wake of the Taurus leaks, secret details from a special meeting of the Defense Committee have been published.
The chairwoman of the committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, demands consequences and wants to involve the public prosecutor.

According to the portal, the Inspector General explained the technical and operational procedures for targeting the Taurus cruise missiles.
It requires complex amounts of data, which therefore have to be processed by special technical systems.
However, there are only very few of these systems;
If they were delivered to Ukraine, the Bundeswehr's ability to defend the country would be reduced.
The matter also sheds new light on the constant rejection of a Taurus delivery by Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SDP).
So far he had mainly argued that target control of the cruise missile was only possible with the help of Bundeswehr soldiers.
In order to rule out deployment against Russian territory, soldiers would have to be sent to Ukraine - and thus risk Germany becoming involved as a warring party;

Röttgen rejected the allegations and accused the Chancellor of always finding new excuses instead of explaining the true motives of his politics.
Instead of playing with “clear cards”, Scholz aims to “deceive the public on this issue - on a question of European and national security”.
He knows nothing himself and is not keeping anything from the public.

The next day, Strack-Zimmermann told the broadcaster
