The stars of “Hartz und Herzen” are often attacked on the Internet.

Audience favorite Elvis from the Mannheim Benz barracks is fed up with it.

In the social documentary “Hartz and Warm – Day after Day Benz Barracks” on RTLZWEI, viewers get an insight into the lives of the residents of the former workers' settlement in Mannheim, who have to cope with many challenges.

Above all, money problems and unemployment play a major role.

Now there is more and more hatred from outside.

Audience favorite Elvis is now campaigning against this in his web series called “Simply Elvis”.

MANNHEIM24 reports:

“Hartz und cordial” stars experience a lot of hate online – Mannheim Elvis has had enough

The “Hartz und cordial” protagonists don’t just share their everyday lives on television.

Many also have social media channels where they connect with their fans.

Pascal and Petra from “Hartz und Herzen” even want to build a regular income on TikTok.

But the Benz Barackler doesn't always receive positive feedback: many users on social media don't shy away from leaving offensive comments and hate messages.

Pascal also addressed this in a video.

Now Elvis also wants to speak out against it.

Elvis gets help from the public prosecutor – “Can you report something like that?”

Elvis from Mannheim also had unpleasant experiences in the past with people who were not “so well disposed” to him, as he says.

For example, he received a postcard that said “Finally do Germany a favor, die.”

That's why he sought help from a public prosecutor from Munich, who explained to him how to take action against it.

“Can you report something like this or should you ignore it?” Elvis asks the lawyer.

“Nobody has to be insulted,” he explains firmly and adds, “These are criminal offenses.

You can defend yourself against this and report someone.” The lawyer then introduces Elvis to several organizations that you can contact if you experience hate online.

“Good cause” – Elvis' efforts against online hate are praised

Elvis explicitly refers to these organizations in his Instagram post to make it clear to his followers that they can defend themselves against online bullying.

There is support for this in the comments.

“Good thing,” writes one user.

Elvis has lived in the Benz barracks in Mannheim his whole life and never wanted to leave them.

But so much has changed in the district in recent years that the “Hartz und cordial” protagonist is seriously considering turning his back on the Benz barracks.
