Emmanuel Macron closely followed Valérie Hayer's first meeting on March 9 in Lille (North).
One detail frankly did not please the president, according to one of his followers.
While ministers and deputies were called to general mobilization, only around fifty elected officials from the Palais-Bourbon responded.
“Many MPs have refocused on their interests and project themselves less,” explains a Renaissance MP.
For the moment, we are not involved in the campaign, we only saw the head of the list once in a group meeting…”
The activists, according to a key figure in the campaign, nevertheless have “ants in their legs”.
Except that the leaflets and posters were not ready until now.
On this point, things should start to move this weekend.
The first haulage should begin in the markets.
The operation, called “Porting Europe”, aims to distribute nearly 400,000 flyers in total over two weekends.
Emmanuel Macron will appear on the posters.
