, governor of Entre Ríos, quickened his pace to express his support for the Government of Javier Milei after the rejection of the mega DNU in the Senate and called
for coherence and responsibility
in the face of the electoral results.
The president, from the PRO, focused on the fact that a decree is a "tool" of the President.

"This DNU in particular
has already generated positive changes
in the rental law or in the possibility of having better prices and offers on local flights, among others," said Frigerio.
Continuing, he mentioned the
May Pact
, convened by the President in Córdoba, in which he intends to reach agreements with the governors, who long for fiscal relief after the symbolic agreement.
"I do not believe that,
within the framework of the dialogue initiated
in view of the May Pact and with a view to trying to generate agreements to sanction important laws for our province and the country,
the answer is to oppose
a Decree of Necessity and Urgency with
arguments
that on other occasions
have been used to defend him
," contrasted the Entre Ríos governor in a reinforcement of his position.
And he concluded, with some unease: "The most reasonable alternative would have been
to postpone
its discussion until the reformulated Base Law is passed."
The DNU was discussed this Thursday in the Upper House after Vice President Victoria Villarruel accepted the opposition's request and also generated criticism from the head of state himself.
