There were two skiing accidents in Tyrol on one weekend.
A girl fell down an embankment, and in another accident the person who caused the accident simply fled.

At the weekend, two serious skiing accidents occurred in Sölden, which suffered several serious injuries at the beginning of February.
A man caused outrage because he simply ran away after an accident.
In both cases children were affected.

The first accident occurred on Saturday morning (March 9th) in Sölden in the state of Tyrol.
In the ski area there, a man crashed into a group of schoolchildren who were stopping by a snow cannon, the Austrian tabloid

reported .
The children were standing around 100 to 200 meters above the “Gratlift mountain station” on the red marked slope number 4 when suddenly a skier hit three students while sliding on his back.
The rescue helicopter had to rescue an accident victim in a Tyrolean ski area.

“One of the children, a six-year-old Austrian, suffered a broken arm, a nine-year-old student suffered a bruise and one child was uninjured,” the police told the

.
What makes things even worse: The person who caused the accident fled without inquiring about the children's health or leaving his details behind.
According to police, the man, who is said to have spoken with a Dutch accent, put on his skis after the collision and drove away.
The Sölden district asked for information from witnesses.

According to the police, the eight-year-old was on the red slope number 1 with her family from Latvia.
Suddenly the girl lost control and drove down the slope.

“At the end of the slope, the girl went over the edge of the piste and fell around 20 to 25 meters over a steep embankment,” reported the police.
After the piste rescue team provided first aid, a rescue helicopter took the eight-year-old to the hospital in Zams.
Nothing is known about the type or severity of the injuries.
At the end of December 2023, a similar skiing accident occurred in Tyrol - a 14-year-old died.
