The Villa Frankenburg in Tegernsee is an impressive building.
She was now the target of a burglar.

An unknown person broke into the historic Villa Frankenburg in Tegernsee on Friday night.
Because the caretaker couple noticed the break-in, the perpetrator had to flee without taking anything.

- As the police report, the caretaker couple lives in an attic apartment in Villa Frankenburg and became aware of noises and footsteps in the walls around 2 a.m.
The police suspect that the perpetrator was driven away by the couple.
He came away empty-handed.
When inspecting the villa, which is located directly on Seestrasse, it was discovered that the burglar had forced open a patio window and had gotten in and out of the house this way.
During his wanderings through the building, the unknown man broke open several locked doors and searched cupboards.
Damage must first be assessed by a specialist
According to the police, the damage to the patio window cannot yet be quantified; it must first be inspected by a specialist.
Overall, the material damage caused is likely to be several thousand euros, as several doors in the house were also damaged.

Based on the evidence, the police assume there was only one perpetrator.
She is hoping for information from witnesses who saw anything suspicious between midnight and 2 a.m.
