A group of men were caught stealing valuable copper cables from a solar farm in the Bamberg district.

In the early hours of the morning: Police officers check three vehicles near a solar farm - and find severed copper cables.
Oberhaid - A group of men in the Bamberg district were caught red-handed stealing copper cables worth 30,000 euros.
A patrol noticed two cars and a van moving suspiciously and without lights around the solar park near Oberhaid early on Thursday morning around 4:30 a.m., as the police and public prosecutor's office announced on Friday, March 15th.

Group is brought before a judge - major damage to the solar park
The police first called for backup.
As the suspects drove toward the highway in the early morning of March 14, officers stopped the vehicles.
During the inspection, the severed copper cables came to light.
According to information, the police were able to arrest ten men on site.
The suspects, aged 21 to 45, were brought before an investigating judge at the Bamberg district court on Friday.
According to the statement, he had issued arrest warrants against the men on suspicion of serious gang theft in conjunction with property damage.
