In the future, parents will have to pay more to look after their children at the Löwenzahn Hattenhofen children's home.

The local council has renewed the fee schedule and also updated the eight-year-old statutes.

Hattenhofen - Due to changes in the Infection Protection Act and thus in dealing with illnesses, the statutes had to be amended after consultation with the children's home management and the kindergarten representative.

The local council also voted unanimously for the new fee schedule.

“We have based ourselves on the fees of the municipality of Adelshofen,” said Mayor Franz Robeller.

“Adelshofen has also built a new children’s house, just like us, so we have the same requirements.”

The crèche fees are staggered; from September onwards, depending on the booking time, you have to pay between 100 and 380 euros per month (for nine hours).

The prices for attending kindergarten range between 90 and 160 euros.

deficit

It is not possible to run the facility without a deficit, emphasized Robeller: “We would need six to seven times the fees so that we can cover our costs.” But you cannot charge 600 or 700 euros for the kindergarten.

Because the municipality invests a lot in the children's home, the case of vandalism on February 18th is all the more annoying.

As reported, young people raged at the children's home's playground.

They climbed over the fence, which meant trespassing, and rioted, Robeller reported to the local council.

A flower bowl and a toy excavator were destroyed, and a window pane was cracked after a stone was thrown.

The outer wall was also damaged by stones.

The young people were observed and the municipal administration filed a report.

Robeller: “The fun stops there, these are no longer stupid youth pranks.

I don’t see that the municipality should pay for the damage.”
