The ice has always been his playground.
Broad smile, raised hair and azure eyes, Lorine Schild looks towards the very near future.
The one that is looming in Montreal where she will represent France for the World Figure Skating Championships which will begin this Monday, March 18 in Montreal.
In 2009, the Rémoise put on skates for the first time, she was only four years old.
Since then, the resident of the Reims Figure Skating Club has climbed the ranks, one after the other.
Already at her side from the start, her coach Malika Tahir tirelessly continues the preparation sessions with her.
Every day, Lorine tirelessly repeats each movement, each figure of her program at the Albert I ice rink.
One goal in mind: the World Championships.

“Each time, we improve a small detail,” explains Lorine.
The goal is to perform as well as possible in Montreal with the objective of getting into the top 15.”
It was only on February 26, 2024 that the French Ice Sports Federation formalized the presence of Lorine Schild to represent France from March 18 to 24 in Canada.
A new stage for the Rémoise, aged 19, and just crowned with her title of French Elite champion then her 5th place at the European Championships.

“This tenure is the fruit of his work.
Lorine is a competitor, a fighter.
I am happy for her that the season ends with this deadline.
In Montreal, she will be there to offer her best performance,” rejoices Malika Tahir.
And it is a competition that Rémoise approaches with complete serenity despite the high stakes.
“I feel good, I look forward to it in the same way as my past competitions.
I will use all my experience to perform at my best.
There will be some stressful moments there.
But once I’m on the ice, it’s just fun,” she says.
If the Worlds will take place all of next week, Lorine will be competing on the ice in Montreal on Wednesday March 20 and Friday March 22.
The Rémoise champion should deliver a gentle performance to the music of London Grammar.
