The 50,000 travelers who will frequent the “Mairie de Vitry-sur-Seine” metro station on line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express will be treated to a dive into the bowels of the earth, a revisited prehistoric cavity atmosphere.
Until the end of March, the artist Abdelkader Benchamma is creating a huge fresco on walls that were created from scratch, with false cracks and geological accidents.
No cave paintings in sight here.
The designer favors abstract shapes in sober colors, which will sharpen the imagination of future travelers.
Everyone can see what they want: horse, dragon, angel, waves...
