He seized a 30-year-old woman in her home, preventing her from leaving and attempted to rape her until the woman managed to ask for help through a friend.
For this reason, the Carabinieri of the Sampierdarena station arrested a 21-year-old Romanian citizen, accusing him of sexual assault and kidnapping.
According to what the victim said, the two had met on a well-known dating site and had arranged an appointment at his house, in the Sampierdarena district.
But the woman, when she saw that the young man was being aggressive, sent the location of where she was to a friend of hers who tried to reach her.
The friend, unable to locate the house, called the police.
Even the military personnel who arrived on site had some difficulty finding the apartment until they saw an illuminated window and heard the woman's screams.
At that point they entered and arrested him.
