Monday morning, in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes), an employee of a bakery informed one of his colleagues of a worrying plan,

learned from reliable sources.
In a completely serious tone and without further explanation, he told her that he wanted to kill people.
The story could have ended there if, the next day, during the morning, this 31-year-old individual had not threatened this same colleague to cut off her head if she spoke to him again.
After which he retreated into the business, armed with a metal knife 19 centimeters long.

Psychiatric disorder
The police quickly intervened on the spot, arresting the suspect without difficulty.
The latter, registered for criminal record processing (TAJ), is however not known to the intelligence services for any radicalization.
The Nice public prosecutor's office specifies in this sense that the police custody of the person concerned was lifted
"taking into account [his] mental health"

And to specify that acts of apology for terrorism
“have not been characterized”
.
The key to this attack was based more on a psychiatric disorder, the man was automatically hospitalized in a specialized establishment.
