The project presented to us today is the opposite of a fraternity project.
The ethical debate is in fact a conflict of values between the protection of vulnerability, in the name of fraternity, and respect for the autonomy of the person, in the name of freedom.
We can clearly see that the proposed guidelines favor individual freedom over collective fraternity since we allow the death of vulnerable people in the name of their freedom of choice.
It disrupts the fragile balance between autonomy and solidarity.
