Late-night violence: There is almost always a lot of alcohol involved.

Yesterday a man was injured in an argument in a bar in the Neugablonz district of Kaufbeuren.

Early on Thursday morning, around 3 a.m., there was an argument between two men in a bar on Neuer Markt.
However, a 48-year-old guest who was originally not involved in the conflict and merely wanted to contribute to mediation was injured.
One of the two brawlers thanked the man by putting a glass over his head.
The 48-year-old was taken to hospital by emergency services with a laceration.

When the police arrived, the 32-year-old perpetrator had already left, but he was easily identified.
He is now facing criminal proceedings for grievous bodily harm, the police report.
According to police, everyone involved in the altercation was heavily intoxicated, some of them up to two per thousand.
