It’s an evening whose excitement is
beyond
any doubt.
Sunday March 31, the Grand Rex will broadcast on a giant screen the most emblematic clash of the Ligue 1 championship between Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain.
The match will be broadcast not in the main room of the establishment which can accommodate more than 2,000 spectators, but in an annex room with 250 seats which will welcome the public from 7 p.m., with the match starting at 8:45 p.m.
After posting a tweet on Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter) advertising the event, the Grand Rex deleted it.
The reason is simple, the evening is already sold out.
Places at 21 euros and 24.15 euros were offered for sale and all found takers.
The organizer of the broadcast, Iconic Club, promises “an electrifying face-to-face”.
“Entertainments, gifts to win, sports speakers... We are preparing an Iconic atmosphere for you,” warns the organizer.
After 25 days of the championship, Paris Saint-Germain holds the reins of Ligue 1 with 56 points, while Olympique de Marseille is ranked 7th with 39 points.
To date, the two clubs have faced each other 16 times.
The record is 50 victories for Paris, 35 victories for Marseille and 21 draws.
It is not uncommon for clashes to take place between supporters of the two entities.
However, the Grand Rex tells us that it has “no fear” because this is the third time that Iconic Club has organized a similar evening, without ever “having had any excesses”.
