Pop singer Marc Terenzi has to answer in court for allegations of sexual harassment - but the day of the trial goes differently than planned.
Borna - On Thursday morning (March 14, 2024), singer Marc Terenzi (45) had to answer before the district court in Borna on allegations of sexual harassment of a minor.
The public prosecutor's office claims that he touched the buttocks of his ex-girlfriend Anja R.'s (36) then 15-year-old daughter indecently.
The trial against the 45-year-old has now been stopped for the time being.
The scheduled main hearing with Marc Terenzi starts late
Last year, the district court in the Saxon city of Borna issued a criminal order against the founding member of the boy band Team 5ünf.
Shortly afterwards, Marc Terenzi's lawyer Dr.
Andreas Hohnel announced that they had lodged an objection against the penalty order.
Now the main hearing took place.
It was scheduled for March 14th at 9 a.m. - but it couldn't start on time.

First, not only the court interpreter for Marc Terenzi, who wanted to testify in English, was delayed, co-plaintiff Anja R. is also said to have appeared alone with her lawyer - the alleged victim was missing.
According to the information from

, the pop singer first waited outside and later on a bench in the court hallway impatiently for the hearing to begin.
Meeting in just a few minutes: Parties can quickly come to an agreement in the process
After the trial began, it took around five minutes for both parties to come to an agreement: Marc Terenzi now has to make a so-called perpetrator-victim settlement: This means that he has to talk to Anja R.'s daughter within the next three months.
If he does not do this, there may be another negotiation.
The now 17-year-old has the right to refuse the conversation - in this case the matter would be over.

Marc Terenzi told

that he was relieved and was happy about the outcome of the trial: “I am incredibly relieved that the court recognized my innocence.
I had a bad year behind me; because of the allegations, I no longer received any orders and no longer earned any money.
That's over now, I can finally go back to work.
I never did what I was accused of.
I am glad that this has now been confirmed by the court.”

After the procedure, the singer is said to have called his girlfriend first and informed her of the circumstances.
Things seem to be peaceful between the couple at the moment, but it hasn't always been this way: In an interview, Verena Kerth (42) spoke openly about the turbulent year she had with Marc Terenzi.
