So says Christian Prouteau, the founder of the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN), fifty years ago.

He directed it until 1983 and carried out 64 interventions.

He is one of the guests of the literary and artistic fair organized this Saturday March 16 at the National Gendarmerie Museum in Melun by six 2nd year students from the EOGN.
