The fences appeared.
The land is demarcated.
The earth is stripped.
It is here, on this vast plot of 70,000 m2 in Rungis (Val-de-Marne) along the D 7, opposite the parking lot of the Belle-Épine shopping center, that the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie Paris-Rungis ( CIG) will see the light of day.
The project was presented Wednesday morning at the International Market for Real Estate Professionals (MIPIM) in Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes).
A seduction operation during this unmissable “showcase” event for the sector, which attracted 23,000 visitors this year.
All those responsible for the file made the trip to shed light on this project awaited for years in Val-de-Marne: Bruno Marcillaud (SE), mayor of Rungis and president of the CIG joint union, Olivier Capitanio (LR ), president of the departmental council, Patrick Ollier, president of the Métropole du Grand Paris (MGP), Stéphane Layani, CEO of Semmaris which manages the Rungis Market, Alexandra Dublanche vice-president of the Île-de-France region responsible for attractiveness and economic development, and Rodrigo Clare, director of commercial real estate at Altarea, the group responsible for building the place.
“A real team was formed around this project,” rejoices Bruno Marcillaud.
