Former President of the United States Barack Obama enjoyed a discreet round of golf this Wednesday afternoon on the prestigious national site of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, in Guyancourt (Yvelines), as in attest to the videos revealed by TV78.

Visiting Paris this week for the PowR Earth summit on renewable energies in La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine), the arrival of the 44th President of the United States does not surprise Jean-Michel Fourgous, mayor of Élancourt and president of the agglomeration of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

In a black tracksuit and cap, it was a comfortable Barack Obama who was able to enjoy the National Golf before heading towards Nanterre in the evening.

The Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines site, which regularly welcomes officials and ministers, both French and foreign, has seen others.
Donald Trump himself was announced for a time in Guyancourt.
But the successor to Barack Obama, whose practice of golf in the midst of a pandemic caused controversy during the 2020 presidential campaign, had ultimately never set foot on the greens of the famous Yvelinois course.
