A serious accident occurred on the Kandahar descent in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Thursday afternoon, which will give a Dutch holidaymaker lasting memories.
GAP - At around 3:10 p.m., the 46-year-old woman was snaking down the slope when another skier suddenly approached from behind at high speed.
The man, who lives in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, passed the woman at a short distance, causing her skis to get caught and she fall.
The collision was so violent that the holidaymaker hit her upper body against the man's helmet.
The consequences of the accident were serious: the woman suffered several broken ribs and had to be immediately taken to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Clinic.
An investigation was initiated against the local man for negligent bodily harm.
