Evgeny Vinokurov is missing from “Let's Dance” for the second time.
The dance professional did not make this decision himself.
Cologne – Since February 23rd it has been “Let’s Dance” every Friday evening on RTL.
14 celebrities and their professional dance partners swept across the dance floor at the beginning.
Because many of them have been there for several seasons, the professional dancers have now become celebrities themselves.
Of course, the audience notices when one of them is missing - like Evgeny Vinokurov (33) this year.
He now revealed in an interview why the dancer is not there.
Evgeny Vinokurov is missing from “Let’s Dance”: That’s the reason
Evgeny Vinokurov appeared on “Let’s Dance” for the first time in the twelfth season in 2019.
At that time he danced with Evelyn Burdecki (35) and took fifth place with her.
The dancer then took part again in 2021 with singer Else DeLange (46), who had to drop out in seventh place due to injury.
In 2022, Evgeny and Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (23) were thrown out in 13th place in the second episode - but is still very popular with the fans.
However, Evgeny is missing from the current 17th season - and he wasn't there last year either.
But he didn't make this decision himself. "Unfortunately, I'm not taking part in this season," the dancer explained to

“It was a production decision that certainly has substantive reasons for it and which I don’t doubt.” However, Evgeny Vinokurov is not the first dancer to sit out a few seasons.
Ekaterina Leonova (36), for example, was missing in 2020 and 2021 after winning three seasons in a row.
“Let’s Dance” 2024: Who’s still missing?
In addition to Evgeny Vinokurov, “Let's Dance” fans will have to do without a few other well-known faces this year, such as Christian Polanc (45), who decided not to take part due to time constraints.
Christina Hänni (34), formerly Luft, Isabel Edvardsson (41) and Renata Lusin (36) are also out this year because all three professional dancers are pregnant.

The new ones are the Moldovan dancer Anastasia Stan (26) and Mikael Tatarkin (27), who, however, was eliminated in the first episode with comedienne Maria Clara Groppler (25).
After their exit, they made serious allegations against the “Let's Dance” production and RTL.
