A man was indicted on February 23, 2024 for rape, sexual assault and corruption of a minor over fifteen years old.
He is now under judicial supervision.
The information was revealed this Friday by France 3 Champagne-Ardenne.
The case concerns two young girls who applied for the Miss 15/17 Marne beauty contest.
For one of them, only the corruption of a minor was retained.
The events took place outside of the events organized by the Comité Marne.
“Contact would have been made on social networks and they would have seen each other outside.
In competitions, young girls are never left alone with anyone,” insists an anonymous source.
The man was well known to the candidates because it was he who had hosted the big Marnese election evening since 2022.
In November 2023, he was also part of the pre-selection jury.

“We didn't know anything, we had no suspicions, I was shocked when I learned of the existence of this affair.
I see very well who this man is, I meet him two or three times a year during the Marne departmental elections.
He is also a partner, he offered hypnosis shows on stage during election evenings,” explains Noelline Pacquay, president of the Miss 15/17 Champagne-Ardenne committee.

Despite everything, the Miss 15/17 National Committee has decided to maintain the election on April 6, 2024 in Châlons-en-Champagne.
The twenty-four candidates selected in November 2023 will all be present, no defections have been reported.
A new presenter has been recruited for the occasion.
