A terrible accident happened on Friday near Schöngeising.

Terrible accident near Schöngeising: On Friday afternoon, two motorcyclists crashed into each other head-on near the sports field.
Schöngeising – Any help came too late for her.
The two young men died at the scene of the accident.
According to the police, a 20-year-old from the Dachau district overtook a car shortly after the end of Schöngeising in the direction of Mauern.
He apparently overlooked the 24-year-old from the district, who was also traveling in the opposite direction on a motorcycle.
The two crashed into each other head-on.
All efforts fail
First responders immediately began resuscitating the most seriously injured.
When the helpers from the Schöngeising fire department arrived, they took over the resuscitation.
“We continued with the resuscitation until the rescue service and the emergency doctor arrived,” reports fire brigade commander Christian Sandmayr when asked by Tagblatt.
But all efforts to save the lives of the two young men failed.
There are always serious accidents on the route
According to the police, two rescue helicopters, the emergency doctor and the fire department were in action.
The road was completely closed until around 5 p.m.
The route is very popular with motorcyclists because of its many curves.
