While the sun had regained ground over the last two days, the weather will once again be disrupted and unstable this Friday March 15 in the northern two-thirds of the country, with temperatures still mild, Météo France predicts.
This morning
, we have to face slightly rainy weather from the South-West to the North-East and as far as the northern Alps, while a sky of showers takes over from Brittany to the coastal departments of the Channel.
Around the Gulf of Lion and in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur the weather will be calmer, with at most a few patches of gray in places.
In the afternoon
, over the northern two-thirds of the country, the weather will become unstable with chaotic skies, accompanied by showers.
These showers will sometimes be accompanied by sleet and could turn into thunderstorms over a large northeast quarter.

The southwest wind will blow all day between 60 and 70 km/h on the Channel coast.
Inland, the wind will tend to strengthen with showers in the afternoon with gusts to 50/60 km/h, locally 70 km/h.
On the other hand, in the southern third, the weather will remain calmer, with generous sunshine, but a few drops are not excluded in the South-West.
At the end of the day and in the evening
, the improvement will reach the western half, and the showers will only rain on the eastern side of the country.
It should also snow a little more in the Alps above 1,900 m altitude, Météo France predicts.

Temperatures
should soften again after the last two sunny days.
Météo France mentions “cooler” minimum temperatures, from the Alps to the north of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region with 3°C to 8°C expected.
In the rest of the country, expect 8°C to 11°C.
In terms of maximums, despite a drop compared to Thursday, they will still remain mild, between 13°C and 17°C over most of the country.
South of the Garonne and in the South-East, expect values between 18°C and 21°C.
In Île-de-France
, the weather will be cloudy across the entire region in the morning, but watch out for stormy showers which will sweep in the afternoon from Yvelines to Seine-et-Marne and will continue in the evening.
The weather should become calmer again during the night.
Temperatures will be between 10°C and 16°C with values around 14°C to 15°C in the afternoon.
