Eighty events, including shows, meetings, exhibitions, and 47 schools involved.

It is the program of the "Week of Legality", which returns to Emilia-Romagna from 17 to 25 March, organized by the Legislative Assembly and the Regional Council in collaboration with the Regional School Office and the provincial offices, associations such as LiberaEmilia-Romagna and Amici dei Popoli , businesses and cultural centers engaged in anti-mafia activity.

"The fight against the mafia is not an operation that is the responsibility of individual people: if we want to defeat crime we must all join hands - underlines the President of the Legislative Assembly Emma Petitti - I also believe it is important to involve the younger generations to make them feel like protagonists and make them understand them how crime acts.

Inside schools we need to provide the tools to make the value of legality and responsible citizenship known".

One of the central events is scheduled for March 18th, at 10am, in the Guido Fanti Room of the Legislative Assembly in Bologna, when a representation of students will meet PietroGrasso, former president of the Senate and former national anti-mafia prosecutor.

Together with Emma Petitti they will cut the ribbon on the exhibition "A life against the mafia", with the 25 totems of legality, each dedicated to a victim of the mafia, created by the Einaudi-Molari schools of Rimini.

The week will be inaugurated on March 17th at 5pm at the Teatro della Repubblica di Cattolica with the show "Il tempoaround" written by GiulianoScarpinato, inspired by the experience of the author and his parents, Roberto Scarpinato and Teresa Principato, anti-mafia magistrates and the escort agents who they have worked side by side for years.

It will be repeated on 19 March, 10 am, at the Arena del Sole in Bologna and on 20 March at the Teatro di Correggio.

On March 22nd the investigation "Brucia la terra" will be presented in the Legislative Assembly, which won the twelfth edition of the Roberto Morrione Award for investigative journalism.

Furthermore, among other events, on 21 March in Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna the President of the Region Stefano Bonaccini will inaugurate a new youth center in a building confiscated from the mafia.
