“The Big Hit Surprise” celebrated Florian Silbereisen’s 20th anniversary on the Saturday evening show – an experience that deeply moved the presenter.
Leipzig – Florian Silbereisen (42) has long been an integral part of German Schlager music: the Bavarian native made his first appearances in the legendary “Musikantenstadl” as a child and promptly got his own television show as a young man.
In 2004 he succeeded Carmen Nebel (67) at Erste - a job to which he has remained loyal to this day.
He has been presenting the ARD program “Feste” for almost half his life.
Florian Silbereisen is celebrated for his career at the “Schlagersurprise”.
The year 2024 brings with it a happy anniversary: Florian Silbereisen has been presenting the big hit shows on Saturday evenings for a whopping 20 years.
The next broadcast will be on March 16th, as usual from 8:15 p.m. on the first.
But this time something is different: the pop star was surprised with a particularly personal broadcast.
“There has never been a show like this before,” says a press release about “The big hit surprise for Florian Silbereisen”.
The title of the show already reveals that the host was not informed about the plans in advance.
Because Helene Fischer's ex (39) thought he was surprising his good friend DJ Ötzi (53) in a "Riverboat" edition - but the 54-year-old was just playing the decoy: In reality, the festivities were also aimed at Barbara Schöneberger (50) diligently helped the pop star himself.

Afterwards he was touched and deeply impressed: “I've experienced a lot in many shows over the past 20 years, but I've never experienced anything like this!
It couldn’t be more surprising,” says Florian Silbereisen.
He probably won't forget his “hit surprise” so quickly: “When Barbara suddenly stood in front of me without any warning, it was like a shock for me at first, I didn't even know what was going on.
But it quickly became the most emotional show of my life, for which I can only thank you very, very much!”

German television viewers will see why Florian Silbereisen reacted so emotionally and what surprises awaited him next Saturday in the usual time slot.
In Austria, the ORF broadcasts the show.
Hit fans will soon get their money's worth on TV elsewhere too: the ARD stations are clearing out their program for Helene Fischer at Easter.
