The Penzberg 1907 Ski Club needs a new tiled stove.
The work on the Rabenkopf involves a lot of work and more than 10,000 euros.
Penzberg - A lot of work lies ahead of the members of the Penzberg 1907 Ski Club. The old tiled stove in the club's Karl-Klein Hut has no use, says treasurer Gebhard Brennauer.
The chimney sweeper was unable to grant an extension of operation due to existing deficiencies.
The Penzberg Ski Club needs a new tiled stove for its hut at Rabenkopf
Sepp Aigner and Herbert Grießer dismantled the tiled stove in the living room of the Hut am Rabenkopf for the last time in the fall of 1993 - and rebuilt it completely.
The “good old piece,” as Brennauer affectionately calls the oven, will have to be dismantled and replaced this spring.
The cashier informs us that the chimney should then be checked and, if necessary, renovated at the same time.
This means many voluntary hours of work, as we have to prepare the hut for the 100th anniversary next year.
The club members must carry out the demolition work alone.
They also have to transport away the old material - and carry up the new.
The Waldherr company from Wackersberg then takes the long journey to the Pessenbacher Alm and the subsequent climb up to the hut.
The professionals are expected to dismantle the oven and build a new one in May.
High costs for the tiled stove of the Penzberg Ski Club in Karl-Klein Hütte am Rabenkopf
For the Penzberg 1907 Ski Club, the undertaking represents a very large financial outlay, writes treasurer Brennauer in his report.
The costs for the work and the oven clearly exceeded the 10,000 euro mark.
Many members therefore donated small and large amounts last year.
The association would like to thank all previous donors for their support, writes the treasurer.
