The radical national senator
Edith Terenzzi
reported having received
death threats on her phone
due to a matter of privilege before the vote for
Javier Milei
's
DNU
in the Senate.
Hours later, the senator who is in the Cambio Federal bloc rejected Milei's DNU and those messages were duplicated.
"After having raised the question of privilege, five or six hours before rejecting the DNU, I began to receive threats on my phone, practically from one in the afternoon. They began to make my phone, my personal data, the atrocities that they say in private," said the senator in dialogue with the program "No la ven" on radio
Splendid
.
"It is a level of aggression that we were not used to. We are used to disagreeing but not to mistreating each other in that way and I also think that has to do with the attitudes of the President of the Nation."
Asked what the threats said, Terenzi stated: "I'm not going to say bad words, but I fell into the category of old piss, which is the most natural thing they say in the Milei army.
"I became a caste. They know me a lot in my province, I did not belong nor will I belong to any caste, nor to the characteristics that Milei reflects when she talks about caste. Then they remembered my mother, some parts of my sister's body and they also say:
'When we pass you on the street we are going to kill you. Be careful because wherever we see you we are going to kill you'
. That is the level of aggression and threats that this group of trolls who come from the Presidency of the Nation handle." , revealed the senator.
My solidarity and support to Senator @EdithTerenzi.
I repudiate all forms of political violence that affect the freedom and integrity of our representatives.
We must take responsibility to stop this escalation before it causes irreparable damage.

"All this happened after a matter of privilege in which I asked the president to apologize for the aberrations that he had accompanied on networks. I had not yet voted against the DNU, of course later that was doubled," said Terenzi, who has mandate until December 2027.
