The Aeroméxico airline flight that this Friday covered the route between Mexico City and Ciudad Juárez landed with an extra passenger: a newborn who was delivered during the flight.
According to the airline, a pregnant woman who was on board had her baby during the journey and the event was recorded on video and shared on social networks.
To complete the story, worthy of a movie script, when the crew members probably asked if there were any doctors among the passengers, a doctor named Leticia Olivares volunteered along with the flight attendants to help in the Birth.
The baby
came into the world at an altitude of 10,000 feet
, when the aircraft had been on its journey between the two cities for an hour.
After landing, mother and daughter were taken to a hospital in Ciudad Juarez, Grupo Aeroméxico reported.

In a statement, the company reported that "today [Friday] on board flight AM113 [...] a passenger went into labor and was immediately attended to by the flight attendants crew, as well as by a doctor who was was on board the flight.
The Aeroméxico Group indicated that "
we are very excited to have been part of this great story that is just beginning
, and since it happened within the framework of our 90th anniversary, we will celebrate by inviting this baby to fly 90 times for free with us."
The flight, it was reported, had almost all passengers.
One of them, who identifies herself on the social network Instagram as Pao Contreras Official, commented in a message: "A baby has just been born on the flight [on] I was coming.
We landed with a new passenger
. I applaud all the flight attendants."
