Three people died
from gunshots this Saturday in a suburb of the
American city of Philadelphia.
The suspect in the shooting fled in a car and authorities are still searching for him.
According to NBC, police located the shootings in the town of Levittown and attributed them to a 26-year-old man named Andre Gordon, who allegedly shot and killed three people
he knew
with an assault rifle .
They were separate incidents in two different homes, they detailed.
Police in Middletown Township, north of Philadelphia, confirmed on their Facebook page that shots had been fired in the nearby township of Falls, leaving "several victims."
In addition, he noted that the attacker was believed to be carrying an assault rifle and was described as
"extremely dangerous
. "
Local media, citing police sources, said that the suspect - who was traveling in a stolen vehicle - killed minutes after 9 a.m. this Saturday two people who lived in a house in the city of Levittown, in Falls Township, before of murdering a third victim at a nearby residence.

After stealing another vehicle outside a store, he escaped.
That vehicle in which he fled was later found in the town of Trenton, New Jersey.
Authorities believe Gordon is a
homeless man
from Trenton and warn he may have additional weapons and be dangerous.
According to the photo of the suspect released by the Police, he is
a young African-American man, with a tall and thin build
, and was wearing a black sweatshirt.
Falls Township police and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro urged area residents to shelter in place and stay off the streets.
