Upon entering this 20th century bourgeois house, art lovers or the simply curious will discover works by the painter which pay homage to the cult decade.

They will have the pleasure of admiring around thirty portraits of mythical characters or celebrities such as ET the Extraterrestrial, Grendizer, Dorothée, Coluche, Indiana Jones, etc.

The objective is also to allow visitors “to be immersed in the 80s”, enthuses Argadol.

Through a staging, they will be able to find lots of objects that will remind them of good memories: telephone from the time, Minitel, Rubik's Cube, bicycle, Nintendo console, PTT calendars, etc.

“There will also be testimonies from people who tell us about their 80s,” smiles the artist who has been preparing this event for 7 months.

The painter claims to have wanted to create “a popular exhibition accessible to all since 80's culture has really spread everywhere: in fashion, in music, in series or in films.

» The idea is to offer a family and intergenerational event that will appeal to young and old.

Passionate about his profession, Argadol needs to present his work to as many people as possible.

This ace paintbrush regularly takes to the streets to create street art.

“It’s quite interesting because passers-by who don’t have the chance to admire works of art ask me many questions and thank me,” observes the painter, who also works in schools.

By talking about his journey to young people, the artist wants to prove that it is possible to make your dreams come true.

“I shouldn’t be an artist.

Essential tremors which do not prevent him from painting

The artist also suffers from essential tremors (

a neurological disease which affects 300,000 French people and which results in uncontrollable tremors during movements or actively maintaining a posture

), which does not prevent him from using his brush.

“My brain sends impulses to my hands (...) but for me, it's not a handicap.

It's almost an asset since it has shaped my work and my style.

There are things that are too fine that I cannot do but this allows me to add liveliness to my creations,” he consoles himself.

Argadol notably spoke about his illness on social networks.

His message helped give hope to certain young people suffering from the same disability.
