Hansi Hinterseer surprised his fans with an incredible anecdote.
At Andy Borg's “Schlager-Fun” he revealed that no show wanted him at the beginning of his music career.
Offenburg – Last Saturday (March 9, 2024) “Schlager-Fun mit Andy Borg” celebrated its latest episode.
Former ski racer Hansi Hinterseer (70) was also among the stars.
During the show he talked about his bumpy first steps in the hit business.
No TV show wanted pop star Hansi Hinterseer
In an honest and humorous conversation with Andy Borg (63), Hansi Hinterseer gave personal insights into his career.
His openness during the “Schlager-Fun” could be due to two special anniversaries: The pop star celebrated both his 70th birthday and his 30th stage anniversary.
The young-at-heart Kitzbüheler told the former “Musikantenstadl” presenter how his first television appearances came about.
The blonde star revealed that well-known producer Jack White (83) once interrupted his own wedding to record the first Hansi Hinterseer song.
When he was able to catch up with other sports legends like Franz Beckenbauer, Toni Sailer and Annemarie Moser with the record, the big shock came: no TV show wanted to let him appear.

The former top athlete remembered the editors of the TV shows when he asked: “We know Hinterseer from skiing, but singing doesn’t necessarily have to be part of our show.” What a slap in the face!
But Hansi didn't let himself get down and turned to Karl Moik.
He was enthusiastic about Hinterseer's idea and together they made plans for the entertainer's big TV premiere.

Of course the performance was a complete success.
30 years later, the ever-popular Hansi Hinterseer has become an integral part of the German pop scene.
One can only hope that the singer will be a guest on the show again soon, even if the “Schlager-Fun” will continue to do without a live audience in the future.
