It was 9:35 a.m. this Thursday when police officers from the Montereau police station were called to a woman found unconscious at the foot of a building.
It was passers-by who raised the alarm and called for help.
Lying on the ground in the grass, at the bottom of a residence located on rue de Grès, in the Surville district, the victim no longer responds.
According to witnesses, this woman, aged 65, born in Cambodia, threw her dog out of the window of her apartment located on the 12th floor of the residence, before throwing herself out of the window.
Despite the resuscitation attempts carried out by the firefighters and the Samu medical team dispatched to the scene, the victim died at the place of his fall.
Judicial police officers went to the site accompanied by the local technical and scientific police service.
An investigation has been opened.
Following this tragedy, Mayor James Chéron, accompanied by the social landlord, set up a psychological unit in the neighborhood for those who witnessed the scene and who wish to talk about it.
“People were filming the scene with their phones, it was nonsense,” he gets annoyed.
