“Finally, it will happen.
You can move closer to the entrance,” one of the organizers explains to a group waiting on the sidewalk.
The news broke shortly before 1 p.m.
The press conference organized by the Franco-Beninese activist Kémi Séba will take place this Saturday at the Berfin hall in Fleury-Mérogis (Essonne).
The summary judge of the Versailles court (Yvelines) suspended the order of the Essonne prefecture.
“We have taken note of it,” simply commented the services of the prefecture reached by telephone this Saturday.
The latter had issued an order the day before prohibiting the event “because of the risk of disturbing public order”.
“Kémi Séba regularly makes anti-Semitic remarks and speeches calling for hatred and violence,” the prefecture explained at the time.
