The Fatah movement, under the leadership of Abu Mazen, today (Saturday) launched a sharp attack against the terrorist organization Hamas - this after Hamas criticized the appointment of the chairman of the Palestinian Investment Fund, Muhammad Mustafa, as prime minister of the Palestinian government. Fatah responded to the criticism: "Hamas was not consulted with us when he made the decision to embark on the adventure of last October 7, which led to a terrible and cruel disaster in Gaza - worse than the 1948 catastrophe.
" to dictate the national priorities," they wrote in the organization's announcement. They claimed that Hamas embodies the "true disconnection from reality and the Palestinian people." ".

In the response published by the organization, they referred to the fact that Hamas called the appointment of the Palestinian Prime Minister a "step without content that deepens the division between the Palestinians", and wrote: "Regarding Hamas' talk of division - did Hamas consult with anyone when it made the decision to embark on the adventure of last October 7, which led to a terrible and cruel disaster in Gaza - worse than the catastrophe of 1948".
In the Fatah statement, Hamas was also accused of seeking to reach an agreement with the Prime Minister of Israel, Binyamin Netanyahu, which would preserve "its position in Gaza and the Palestinian arena."
The Palestinian leadership has been divided since the armed clashes that took place between the Fatah movements and Hamas in the Gaza Strip in June 2007 - when Hamas finally overthrew the Fatah government and took control of Gaza.
Since then, the differences between the organizations have deepened.
