Lieberman: Without ground entry into Lebanon we cannot guarantee the peace of the residents of the north/Knesset channel
The chairman of Israel Beitenu, Avigdor Lieberman, published a tweet today (Saturday) on his X account (former Twitter), in which he called on the Knesset parties to act to cancel the Passover break, which should begin in about three weeks on April 7. The break is expected to last about 6 Shavuot, until the opening of the summer conference after Independence Day on May 19, which will last until the end of July.
According to him, "It is not possible that the Knesset will soon go on a break of almost two months while the country is burning.
While the shooting continues towards the northern and southern cities, 134 hostages are held captive by the Hamas monsters, tens of thousands of evacuees have become refugees in their own country, our soldiers are still fighting in Gaza, and there is a serious dispute over the conscription law."

To some it makes sense...

Lieberman added: "Does it make sense to anyone to go on vacation now? I call on all members of the Knesset to join the Israel Beitenu faction and act to cancel the Knesset's vacation. As elected officials, we have the duty to understand the magnitude of the hour and to work tirelessly for them with all the means at our disposal."

Because Lieberman is proposing to cancel the Knesset's winter recess following the Iron Swords War, and even sent a letter to Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana on the subject. "The elected officials are required to understand the magnitude of the hour and act with all the means at our disposal for the sake of the citizens," he wrote and called on him to announce the cancellation of the supposed recess to start at the beginning of April.
On the seventh of October, the State of Israel experienced the worst terrorist attack that has happened here since the establishment of the state. Thousands of citizens were massacred, others were injured physically and mentally, and over a hundred thousand people were evacuated from their homes in the south of the country and in the north," he wrote in his letter.
"Hundreds of thousands of reservists left everything, their homes, their jobs, and mobilized to lend a hand in the difficult campaign. Some of them, even in these moments, are still fighting and guarding our security. In the days when the citizens of Israel face security, economic, and social challenges, the families of the abducted are fighting for their return, residents displaced from their homes , the business owners cry out for assistance, the wives of the reservists stand as heroes in the face of difficult difficulties they face every day."
According to Lieberman, "We elected officials are also required to understand the magnitude of the hour and to work tirelessly for them with all the means at our disposal, including in the Knesset committees and the plenum, in promoting legislation and continuing parliamentary activity. In light of the above, I am turning to you to request the cancellation of the winter recess that is about to begin Effective this coming April."
