A new integrative children's day care facility is being built on the site of the old Siegertsbrunner fire station.
It will also temporarily serve as temporary accommodation for the Caritas after-school care center and daycare center.
Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn
- The building and real estate committee has given the green light for the construction of a new, integrative daycare facility on the property on Bahnhofstrasse where the old Siegertsbrunner fire station currently stands.
Two new parking spaces are to be built in the existing parking lot - including one barrier-free one.
The committee also unanimously approved the construction of a new garden shed and a storage shed for strollers on the site.

As reported, the new daycare building will temporarily accommodate the Caritas Teresa Maria daycare center and the Caritas after-school care center.
The building will later be attached to the neighboring integrative community kindergarten.
That is why the new building will be functionally connected to the community kindergarten.
An access area is to be created in front of the entrance to the planned facility, which, according to the town hall administration, will “enable visitors to arrive in a relaxed manner” with sufficient distance from the main street.
Costs of around four million euros
According to an initial cost calculation, the total costs for the construction should be around four million euros.
The municipality will not carry out the demolition of the old fire station and the new construction of the daycare center itself, but will transfer the project to the Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn municipal company.
Those responsible hope that this will save time and money.
