Kai Pflaume is actually always well prepared for his TV guests - but in "Who knows something like that?" it becomes clear that the presenter doesn't know everything about the celebrity participants.
Hamburg – Kai Pflaume (56) is highly regarded by his TV colleagues primarily because he puts a lot of time and effort into preparing for his shows.
He regularly visits the little guests for “Small vs. Big” and he also shines with a lot of knowledge about the respective celebrity participants in “Who knows something like that?”
But Kai Pflaume didn't know everything about a guest - and that put him in an embarrassing situation in front of the camera.

“Who knows something like that?” has been a long-running hit on the first since 2015 - while Elton (52) and Bernhard Hoëcker (53) compete in the quiz duel with prominent guests, Kai Pflaume leads through the program.
But the host also regularly shines with his knowledge of his participants.
This was also the case on March 12, 2024, when he introduced Diana Körner (79).
He has it on his radar that the actress can be seen in “WaPo Bodensee”.
However, Kai Pflaume doesn't know how the audience should know her competitor Isabell Polak (42).
When the actress comes across a medical question and promptly has the solution ready, Kai Pflaume is completely taken aback.
“Have you ever appeared in any medical films or series?” he wants to know from her – and thus puts himself in an unpleasant situation.
Apparently Kai Pflaume didn't take a particularly intensive look at the film and television history of his celebrity participant.
As Isabell Polak herself explains in
“Who knows something like that?”
, she has already had roles in “Doctor's Diary” and “In all friendship – the young doctors”, among others.
“The Red Ribbon Club” can also be found in her filmography.

“I was already a doctor,” she says again in the quiz show and doesn’t really save Kai Pflaume from the TV embarrassment.

Kai Pflaume is quite uncomfortable that he apparently has no idea about Isabell Polak's famous roles.
But he tries to get out of the affair in a very professional manner with a large dose of humor.
“I started reading through your filmography, but after a day I ran out of time,” he said charmingly – and hit the mark with the series star.

“It's like that for a lot of people.
It’s actually a shame, it’s a nice read,” says Isabell Polak jokingly.
The actress also recently starred in a well-known medical series.
However, in “Der Bergdoktor” she was not part of the medical staff, but in her role as a forester she met Hans Sigl (54) alias Martin Gruber.
