Happy ending or more disasters?
The last episode of the 17th “Bergdoktor” season picks up speed dramatically again.
Ellmau – That’s it again.
Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl, 54) and Co. have caused a lot of heart and drama a total of eight times in the ZDF hometown series “Der Bergdoktor” in front of the tranquil Ellmau backdrop.
The eighth and final episode “Über den Schatten”, which will be shown on ZDF on March 7th at 8:15 p.m., is also very exciting.
However, this time the season finale is completely different than the year before.

Since the birth of the twins Paula and Leni, family happiness seems to be perfect for Karla (Sarah Mahita, 26) and Markus Jenner (Nicolas Wolf, 32).
But Martin is already coming up with two pieces of bad news.
On the one hand, Karla's liver values indicate a dangerous coagulation disorder, and on the other hand, he has uncovered a secret that is causing distress for the young mother.
While husband Markus worries about his wife's health, he also has to look after the two twins.
He receives support from his best friend Fabian Marx.
But there is also a lot at stake for Martin Gruber.
Finally, the insolvency proceedings for Rolf Pflüger's land trade (Wolfram Berger, 78) are still open.
One way out would be if Claus Strasser (Beat Marti, 51) - Caro's (Barbara Lanz, 40) ex-husband - finally paid the divorce settlement.
However, since he stands in the way, Caro has to pull out her last ace.
The finale picks up speed dramatically – in the truest sense of the word.

After a spectacular car accident and a serious conversation with Martin, Claus Strasser agrees to pay the severance payment.
This means that the rural trade can also be saved at the last second.
Since there is no new stress at the Gruberhof, Lisbeth's (Monika Baumgartner, 72) health also seems to be improving again.
In contrast to season 16, where the conflicts were really heated up again, the finale of the 17th “Bergdoktor” season almost seems like a happy ending with no questions left unanswered.
But it's time to breathe a sigh of relief, because things continue.

Hilde Dalik plays Karin Bachmeier, the new girlfriend of Hans Sigl alias Martin Gruber, in “Der Bergdoktor”.
