Off to Mallorca – but alone!
After three and a half years of relationship, influencer Sophia Thiel has now announced her separation from boyfriend Raphael.
Mallorca – Sophia Thiel (28) and Raphael Birchner (26) once described their relationship as “ass on a bucket”.
In 2019, the fitness influencer and the tech start-up entrepreneur fell in love.
They had kept their relationship secret for a long time.
It was only last year that they made their first joint public appearance at the “Heart for Children” gala.
But now it's over, as Sophia revealed in her Instagram story.
Sophia Thiel had already announced the end of love
The announcement of her new podcast episode “4 Breasts for a Hallelujah” with presenter Paula Lambert (49) made the influencer’s fans sit up and take notice.
“The last few weeks and months have been anything but easy for me.
“I just have to sort myself out and clear my head,” commented Sophia Thiel on social networks.
Yesterday (June 12th) the blonde fitness expert finally flew on vacation to Mallorca - but alone.
Today she spoke to her fans personally from her holiday destination in her Instagram story and confirmed her breakup with “Rapha”.
“Yes, Rapha and I have separated,” Sophia announced, visibly moved, in an Instagram video and went on to explain, “that’s why the last few weeks and actually months have been very, very difficult emotionally.” However, the influencer did not want to go into further details about the reasons for the separation. “Let’s put it this way, people have grown apart over time.”
Sophia Thiel: The move to Berlin is said to have changed a lot
Sophia met Raphael in 2019 during her “most difficult phase”.
The fitness blogger had been working hard for years.
When she suffered from burnout and took a break from social media, Raphael gave her support.
The two quickly fell in love with each other.
During the Corona lockdown in 2020 they moved in together in Munich.
They both later moved into an apartment together in Berlin, which Sophia even presented on her YouTube channel in 2023.

While she takes some time off in Mallorca, he is said to be planning to move out.

“Yes, you always think that you have found your lid for the pot,” explains Sophia in the video.
However, the move to Berlin brought with it some changes.
“We have different ideas about the future,” the 28-year-old added in writing to her post.
According to Sophia, the separation was “the best decision” that could have been made for both of them.
