2024-03-16T12:16:55.587Z

Highlights: Tölz has new event boards. Posters are now protected with glass. 17 locations are affected, as deputy spa director Susanne Frey-Allgaier reported upon request. The last one for now was set up on Blomberg this week. Due to the construction work on the Königsdorfer Straße car park, construction will take place there at a later date. The panels attached to house walls will then be replaced, so that all existing locations will probably be re-equipped over the next week.

The event boards are currently being replaced.

Bad Tölz

- The city council decision was made almost four years ago, but it was only now - after delivery difficulties - that the event boards located throughout the city could be replaced.

17 locations are affected, as deputy spa director Susanne Frey-Allgaier reported upon request.

Due to the construction work on the Königsdorfer Straße car park, construction will take place there at a later date.

The panels attached to house walls (e.g. in the Khan Tower) will then be replaced, so that all existing locations will probably be re-equipped over the next week.

The pure material costs amount to around 30,000 euros, as was already estimated when the city council made the decision.

In addition, there are the costs for construction by the building yard, which, according to Frey-Allgaier, cannot yet be precisely quantified.

On the old boards, the posters were always exposed to wind and weather.

When purchasing the new one, care was taken to ensure that the material was weatherproof and that the boxes were protected against vandalism.

The posters used, which advertise events in Tölz, are now protected by glass so that they are no longer exposed to the weather.

They are attached and removed again by Tourist Information staff.

The photo on the right shows the new board on Bahnhofstrasse, on the left an old board in the Moraltpark area.
