The city of Bad Tölz has big plans until 2027: the spa building is to be expanded, an adventure playground is to be created and a new toilet block is to be built.

– A few years ago the financial plan of the city of Tölz was quite detailed.
“We changed that,” reported treasurer Silke Furmanek.
There was a lot in there that wasn't realized.
“Now only investments that have already been decided are listed.” So: fewer, but more content.
At the meeting of the Finance Committee on Tuesday, the councilors first decided on the statutes of the 72.3 million budget (we reported).
Then a look was taken into the monetary future up to 2027.
In view of the deterioration in the financial situation at all levels of government, Furmanek called for “a concrete prioritization of possible investments”.
This will become even more important in the future.
It was no surprise to any of the councils that the list of investments for the next few years was not particularly extensive.
The biggest chunk is the Kurhaus expansion, which will cost one million euros per year until 2026.
It is also certain that another daycare center will be built.
The estimate is currently 2.4 million euros, which is spread over the years up to 2027.
This cost estimate was based on the figures for the daycare center on Jahnstrasse.
Furmanek: “But we have to expect an increase in construction costs.”

The redesign of the Hindenburgstrasse intersection, which has been in the works for over a decade, will now become a reality.
1.8 million euros are earmarked for this in 2025 and 2026.
The city can expect 50 percent funding here.
However, no money is included in the financial plan for the mini roundabout at Isarbrücke/Säggasse/Kapellengasteig.
Next year, the city's parking guidance system will be renovated and improved for 290,000 euros.
The new parking lot at the post office will also be included.
The bronze city model on Amortplatz will become reality this year.
A total of 100,000 euros are planned for this.
The “playable city” is important to Mayor Ingo Mehner.
Around 330,000 euros are listed in the financial plan this year and next year for the construction of an adventure playground at the Girlitzer Weiher.
A 50 percent funding from the Leader program is possible.
Already under construction: The new toilet block in the parking lot at the Much garages.

The outdated toilet facility at Stockschützenplatz on the Isar promenade will be relocated.

During the same period, the city will also spend around 250,000 euros to renovate the interior lighting in the triple gymnasium.
The gymnastics club can be happy.
Speaking of the gymnastics club: Willi Streicher (SPD) asked what the status of the long-planned exercise hall was.
That was taken out of the financial plan.
Resuming them as placeholders contradicts the will to only include approved projects, said Furmanek.
“But please don’t forget,” asked Streicher.
“No,” assured Mehner.
Gabriele Frei (CSU) wanted to know when the new loudspeaker system would come to the cemetery.
“It will be installed this year,” says Mehner.
After the past record years of trade tax, the treasurer's office expects the municipality to have less tax power.
Furmanek spoke of the first signs of this.
That also has something positive.
Due to the lower tax capacity, according to the answer to a question from Anton Mayer (CSU), trade tax and district levies will be lower in two years.
“Key allocations are also increasing.
These are the double effects,” says Furmanek.
For this reason, the transfer from the administrative budget to the asset budget will increase from a meager 1.2 million euros (2025) to an estimated 2.9 million (2026) and 3.0 million.
