Restaurant owners are convinced: beyond treating themselves to a good meal, their customers now want to have an experience.
At the beginning of February, the round table organized in Paris by the Grandes Tables du monde association invited professionals to think of their establishment like a theater stage!
“The essence of a restaurant is to nourish, but not only that,” says Jade Frommer, young founder of the Ephemera group which has opened “immersive” restaurants in Paris, that is to say where guests have the feeling like you're inside a film.
Others offer reading spaces, sports, grocery stores or trendy clothing boutiques...
